New Leadership at IQTIG
May 26, 2026 - Dr. Alexandra Ramshorn-Zimmer is joining the new leadership team at the Institute for Quality Assurance and Transparency in Healthcare (IQTIG) in Berlin. The specialist in internal medicine has also been serving as a visiting researcher at the Institute for Public Health in Acute Medicine (IPHAM) at UMMD since 2025 and brings expertise in digitalization, health services research, and quality improvement.

Jens Schreiber and Dr. med. Eva Lücke will answer questions regarding asthma, allergies, COPD, lung cancer, as well as coughing and shortness of breath.
Trainees are helped to build resilience
May 22, 2026 - Through resilience training, UMMD helps its trainees overcome the challenges of everyday work life in a healthy and confident manner. In collaboration with AOK Saxony-Anhalt and the Magdeburg Health Academy, the program provides long-term strategies for stress management and strengthening mental health.
